My husband and I did this for New Year's Eve in Buenos Aires and it will be a New Year's to remember. Overall the show was good, the music good and the dancing very good. The food was pretty decent for a dinner show, but we also went to Rojo where the food was better, of course you pay more, and you get what you pay for. Don't hesitate to book Tango Complejo because it's a lot of fun and it's in an authentic Argentine building of the early century. There were about 40-50 tourists from all over, eager to learn. We had lots of fun, he was an excellent teacher. At the end of the hour, we could all do a few steps, and received personalized diplomas. There is not a bad seat in the dance hall. I had been to a large "Broadway" tango show a couple of years ago, and wanted a more intimate experience - this was it. The dancers were very professional, friendly, and costuming was great. At one point they came out to our tables and pulled a few people out for a quick dance and photo op. The band was excellent. They played a nice variety of tango music. The dinner was just average, and service was friendly, but not fast. None of the tango shows really offer a great meal, but this one was pretty good for the money. The unlimited wine was alright, not notable. We took a taxi, did not use their transportation. Ana at TangoTix was a great help, and I certainly would book with them again. A great evening. My friends were crazy they wanted also to be with the dander.. Realmente nos encantó, muy buen despliegue de luces y sonido los cuales junto a los bailarines nos pareció algo muy lindo. The orchestra on the balcony was excellent and the show so enjoyable!! The dinner was disappointing, but the service was very good. Particularly enjoyed the history of tango. The setting was much more intimate than the large scale productions which gave us a ring side seat and better ability to see the intricate footwork.
