Even though I lived in BA for about 8 years I'm a little embarrassed to admit this is the only show I've been to. That said, I completely agree with the Broadway comparison and I absolutely loved it! It may not be the most authentic tango show out there, but it's an amazing production and highly entertaining. I think it's around $100 and you get a steak dinner and half a bottle of wine per person - which definitely helps to make it a fun environment. So if its classic tango you're after you may want to consider something else, but if you want a fun night out, a great show and some very sexy tango (there are a couple of moulin rouge type get ups thrown into the mix) this is a must! I highly recommend it!

Pros:
Beautiful venue
Excellent music and production
Good dancers
Cons:
VERY touristy
You eat at a table with strangers (unless you bring a party of 6-8)
The food is just OK
Very pricey

Senior Tango is a giant production and a giant tourist attraction. You sit in this multi-tiered theater, with dinner tables set back from the balconies. You eat with about 6-8 other people at the table, then move to seats that are set up along the balcony. There are dozens of dancers and an orchestra - there was even a horse on the circular stage. It was like going to a Broadway or London show. I think it was about US$100 for the transportation, dinner and show (4 years ago). While I'm glad I saw it, I wouldn't call it "value tango"
